Gabriele Gramelsberger is Professor for Philosophy of Digital Media at the University Witten/Herdecke. She is interested in the digital transformations of science and society. Between 2009 and 2012, she was principal investigator of the international research group "Lifelike Algorithms & Cellular Machines" (FU Berlin, KHM Cologne, ESRC Lancaster, University of Helsinki), exploring the increasing overlap of information and bio technology.
