Closing Weekend
The two-day closing weekend program of transmediale 2017 on 4 and 5 March 2017 revolves around the theme of language and technology as two recurring topics whose elusive relation has been present at the festival over the course of its thirty editions.

transmediale concludes the one-month program of ever elusive – thirty years of transmediale with two sold-out performances and a talk by performance and multimedia artist Laurie Anderson. This occasion marks her first Berlin performance in six years.

transmediale's 2017 exhibition alien matter, curated by Inke Arns, is open until midnight during the closing weekend. From 22:00 on Saturday, the launch of the exhibition catalogue will be celebrated at the Café Stage. Visitors have the opportunity to buy the catalogue during the whole weekend.
